Catch-a-Fire Blue Ash Is Among the Prettiest Pizzerias We've Seen in Awhile

Catch-a-Fire Pizza’s new Blue Ash dining room is not just the place to get delicious wood-fired pizzas. Thanks to Amy Youngblood Interiors, it’s also a stellar example of contemporary restaurant design.
Catch-a-Fire Pizza has always been an innovative brand, from its start as a food truck in 2013, to its first brick-and-mortar spot inside MadTree Brewing’s taproom in 2015. It’s no surprise that their first full-fledged standalone restaurant would be one-of-a-kind.
Last year, Catch-a-Fire’s owners decided they wanted to open a new location. They found a great building at the intersection of Ronald Reagan Highway and Kenwood Road in Blue Ash. Well, the bones of the building were great, anyway. The inside? Not so much. They embarked on an extensive remodel and enlisted the help of Amy Youngblood Interiors. The results? Nothing short of stunning. They opened their gorgeous new space in July of 2020.
Youngblood and her team created a look that is decidedly upscale and modern while managing to stay warm and inviting. Eye-catching colors were used throughout. AYI also designed custom millwork and a unique flame-style chandelier for the restaurant’s entryway. You can sit at the bar and see the oven where your pizza is being made, or relax at one of their comfortable booths or tables. The restaurant also features a large open bar with high top seating and garage doors that open onto a spacious outdoor patio equipped with a beautiful brick fireplace. There is plenty of outdoor seating, and you can now experience igloo dining as well.
