COMPOSTING WITH GOZERO

Since opening Blue Ash in July 2020, we have composted just over TWO TONS of organic material waste with GoZERO Services. That is equivalent to taking a car off the road for 6 months! We have made a commitment to reduce our carbon footprint at Catch-a-Fire Pizza, and toward that end, we have installed Composting Stations from GoZERO Services at all locations. GoZERO is committed to improving our environment, strengthening our communities, and changing how we think about food, soil, and health by making commercial scale food waste composting convenient and accessible. According to the EPA, the benefits of composting include:

Enriching the soil, helping to retain moisture and suppressing plant diseases and pests.

Reducing the use of chemical fertilizers.
Encouraging the production of beneficial bacteria and fungi that break down organic matter to create humus, a rich nutrient-filled material.
Reducing methane emissions from landfills and lowering our carbon footprint.
